Abstract:

Provided is a capacity control valve which has good responsiveness during start-up and good control accuracy during normal control. A capacity control valve (V) for controlling the capacity of a fluid comprises: a valve housing (10); a primary valve (50) which opens and closes a space between a Pc port (14) and a Pd port (12) by contact/separation of a primary valve seat (10a) and a primary valve part (51a) of a primary valve body (51) that is driven by the driving force of a solenoid (80); a pressure-sensitive valve (55) which is opened by ambient pressure; hollow tubes (52, 54) which form a part of the pressure-sensitive valve (55) and cause the Pc port (14) and a Ps port (13) to communicate via a hollow communication path (56) by the opening of the pressure-sensitive valve (55); and an auxiliary communication path (90) which is formed separately from the pressure-sensitive valve (55) and causes the Pc port (14) and the Ps port (13) to communicate. The auxiliary communication path (90) can widen the flow path cross-sectional area after closing of the primary valve (50).
