Abstract:
Provided is a capacity control valve which can be controlled with high efficiency during normal control. This capacity control valve is provided with: a valve housing 10, 11 having formed therein a discharge port 15, a suction port 13, a first control port 14, and a second control port 16; a rod 51 disposed within the valve housing 10, 11 and driven by a solenoid 80; a CS valve 50 for controlling, by means of the movement of the rod 51, the flow of fluid between the first control port 14 and the suction port 13; and a DC valve 53 for controlling, by means of the movement of the rod 51, the flow of fluid between the second control port 16 and the discharge port 15. The CS valve 50 is closed and the DC valve 53 is closed when the solenoid 80 is not energized, the CS valve 50 is open and the DC valve 53 is open when the solenoid 80 is energized with a maximum current, and, when the solenoid 80 is subjected to energizing control, the CS valve 50 changes from the closed state to the open state and the DC valve 53 changes from the closed state to the open state.
