Abstract:
The car alarm apparatus of the present invention comprises a first horn arranged in the car, a second horn arranged in the car inaccessibly from the outside of the car, an electric source that supplies power to the first and the second horn, a car theft detecting means that detects a car theft, a switch operable by an operator, a first relay that closes the circuit when the switch is operated, a first fuse connected in series with the first relay and the first horn to the electric source, a second fuse connected to the electric source separately from the first fuse, and a second relay connected in series with the second fuse and the second horn to the electric source. The second relay has a first contact that connects the second horn via the first fuse and the first relay to the electric source in parallel with the first horn and a second contact that connects the second horn via the second fuse to the electric source. When a car theft is detected, the second contact is closed.
