Abstract:
A car device of an elevator enabling a reduction in the OH dimension of an elevator hoistway. The car device comprises a car lifting in the elevator hoistway, a suspended ceiling installed at the ceiling part of the car, and a car side modesty panel installed on the car projectedly from the car entrance side lower part of the car downward. The indoor machine of an air conditioner is installed between the ceiling part and the suspended ceiling of the car and the outdoor machine of the air conditioner is installed under the floor of the car adjacently to the car side modesty panel. An inspection door for outdoor machine openable from a landing is formed in the car side modesty panel.
