Abstract:
The present invention relates to a car headrest tilting device, the device comprising: a fixing bracket; a mounting bracket; a front link and a rear link disposed between and connected to the fixing bracket and the mounting bracket such that both ends of each of the front link and the rear link are rotatable; a latch gear formed on an upper end of one side of the fixing bracket; a pole rotatably installed on the mounting bracket and selectively engaged with one of gear grooves of the latch gear; a release plate rotatably installed on the fixing bracket and rotating the pole to a release position when the mounting bracket moves to the forefront; and a return spring installed between the fixing bracket and the rear link to always apply a force to rotate the mounting bracket rearward. Therefore, in the event of a collision, the present invention can prevent the pole from being unlocked and the headrest from unconditionally returning to its initial position, and thus can more effectively prevent occupant injuries.
