Abstract:
The present design relates to a car key, comprising: an upper casing (10) with a vertical-through sliding hole (11) formed at one side thereof; a button (20), which is slidably disposed over the sliding hole (11) of the upper casing (10) and includes a locking release pin (21) at the bottom surface; a lower casing (30), which is coupled to the upper casing (10) and includes a key receiving portion (31) formed at one side of the upper surface and a pivoting support (32) formed on the key receiving portion (31); and a key plate (40), which is composed of a key head (41) pivoting on the pivoting support (32) of the lower casing (30) and a key body (42) to be taken out by a locking release means. Therefore, with the key plate being embedded inside the casing, when the sliding type button is operated as needed, the key head pivots and the key body is automatically taken out simultaneously. Since the key plate is basically hidden, the car key presents a beautiful outer appearance and excellent portability. Also, the car key is easy to operate by sliding the button and its simple structure advantageously facilitates the manufacturing process and lowers the manufacturing cost.
