Abstract:
Provided is an electric car which can be reliably prevented from a battery depletion and can transfer data without troubling the user.
A communication-destination information storage means (D2) stores information concerning communication-destination such as the IP address, the telephone number and so on of a preset information management device (20) into the exterior of the electric car. While the accessory switch of the electric car is OFF, it is determined by a charge determination means (11a) whether or not a battery (B) is being charged. If the charge determination means (11a) determines that the battery (B) is being charged, a control means (11b) controls a radio communication means (16) thereby to perform at least one of the transmission of updatable information and the reception of the updated information for updating the updatable information with the information management device (20) indicated by the information concerning communication-destination. As a result, the car-mounted information device (10) performs the radio communications with the information management device (20) outside of the electric car, while the battery is being charged, so that it can perform at least one of the transmission of the updatable information and the reception of the updated information.
