Abstract:
A car seat, wherein a receiving member (20) extending in the lateral direction of a seat cushion (1) and supported at both end parts is disposed at the inner front part of a seat cushion (1) to receive the waste part of an occupant started to slide forward by an inertia force at the time of abrupt deceleration, a guide plate (32) receiving the portion of the receiving member (20) moving in forward lower direction and moving the portion in forward upper direction when the receiving member (20) is bent by the application of an impact load from the occupant is installed on a seat cushion frame (3), and the portion of the receiving member (20) bent and moved in forward lower direction is moved in forward upper direction by the inclined surface (33) of the guide plate (32) to prevent the pelvis of the occupant from moving forward through the receiving member (20).
