Abstract:
Car-trailer with adjustable-height platform, equipped with platform that can be lowered to the ground or any other level adequate to the nature and form of the cargo. The platform back side (2) can be opened. The wheels (5) are fixed at mobile consoles (7), which turn around the axes (8), that are firmly fixed to the lower part of the platform sides (4). The mechanism that enables lowering and hoisting of the platform includes the pole (11) with pole console (13), to which there are fixed jointed levers (26), connected to the wheel mobile consoles (7) by the regulator (9). At the platform front side (2) there is fixed the housing console (23) in which there is housed the worm-wheel (19) and the worm (20). At the worm-wheel there is firmly fixed the bolt (15), which pulls the bolt (15) with the bolt console (17), which is firmly fixed to the pole (11). This way, the bolt (15) pulls the pole console (13) with the jointed levers (26) which, in turn, hoists or lowers the trailer platform.

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Cartrailer with adjustableheight platform, whose back side may be opened, equipped with a pole with connection to a car, tractor or another vehicle and with wheels, wherein, the adjustableheight platform (D) is equipped with the platform lowering and hoisting mechanism (E) which mechanism includes wheels (5) with separate wheel axes (6) around which the wheels turn, and which axes are firmly fixed to separate wheel mobile consoles (7); the wheel mobile consoles (7) turn around separate axes (8), fixed to the lower part of the platform sides (4) ; at the wheel mobile consoles (7) there are fixed platform position regulators (9) to which there are fixed jointed levers (26) ; the jointed levers (26) are fixed to the pole console (13) which turns in the point (14); the pole console (13) is firmly fixed to the pole (11) to which there is firmly fixed the nut console (17) with axes (18) around which turns the nut (16) ; through the nut (16) passes the bolt (15), which is firmly fixed to the wormwheel (19); the wormwheel (19) drives the worm (20), situated jointly with the wormwheel in the housing (22) that may turn around the axes (24) at the housing consoles (23); the housing consoles (23) are firmly fixed to the platform front end (2); turning of the worm is exercised by the handle (21), the turning of which turns the wheel mobile consoles (7), thus lowering or hoisting the trailer platform (D).
2. Cartrailer as claimed in Claim 1., wherein, the mechanism (E) described in the Claim 1. enables lowering and hoisting of the platform (D) to various levels, including the ground level.
3. Cartrailer as claimed in Claims 1. and 2., w h e r e i n, the said platformlevel regulator (9) has one or more openings (27) for connecting the jointed levers (26), which enables hoisting, lowering and maintaining the platform (D) at various levels, so that the jointed levers (26) are connected to upper or lower openings in the regulator.

CAR TRAILER WITH ADJUSTABLE-HEIGHT PLATFORM INVENTION DESCRIPTION 1. FIELD OF APPLICATION The invention relates to car trailer where, at loading and unloading the cargo, its platform can be lowered down to the floor. In the International Patent Classification, it is classified as B 62 D-Trailers.

2. TECHNICAL PROBLEM Loading of cargoes onto and unloading them from car trailers often causes problems because trailer platforms are designed fixed at a certain level above the ground. This is particularly so about larger pieces of cargo that are to be hoisted and lowered manually, which is often dangerous and harmful to the operator's spine.

This has imposed the necessity of designing a trailer where the platform can be lowered to the ground, or another level adequate for the loading or unloading operation.

3. STATE OF THE ART Presently, there are car trailers with fixed platform, designed at a certain level from the ground. There are trailers where platform sides can be opened or where the platform can be tilted to one side for easier unloading of the cargo. This is applicable to bulk cargoes. There are no trailers equipped with platforms that can be lowered to the ground level, in horizontal position, at loading or unloading the cargo.

4. DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The essence of the invention is the car trailer where the cargo platform can be lowered and hoisted. Lowering and hoisting of the platform is achieved by a mechanism equipped with wheels turning around axes that are fixed at separate mobile wheel consoles. The wheel consoles, with platform hoisting regulators, are fixed to the lower part of the platform sides. The regulators are fixed in a mobile manner to the trailer pole, through jointed levers. At the front side of the platform, there are fixed consoles of the worm-gear housing, with a bolt passing through a nut held by nut-consoles fixed to the trailer pole. Turning of the worm turns the worm-wheel with bolt that moves through the nut, pulling that way the jointed levers which, in turn, turn the mobile wheel consoles. This way, the platform is lowered or hoisted to the required height from the ground. Turning of the worm, besides manual, may be powered hydraulically or electrically.

6. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A POSSIBLE INVENTION EMBODIMENT Figures 1., 3., 4. and 5. show that car trailer with adjustable-height platform is equipped with a mechanism for lowering and hoisting of the platform E, consisting of : wheels 5 on axes 6, wheel mobile consoles 7 on wheel mobile console axes 8, platform position regulator 9 with openings 27 for pins of the jointed lever 26, the pole console 13 with the pole 11 and the connection 12 and the pole console 11 a, the worm-gear transmission with worm wheel 9 and worm 20, the worm-gear transmission housing 22 with housing consoles 23, the lever for turning the worm 21, and the bolt 15 with the nut 16 and the nut console 17.

The adjustable-height platform D is equipped with the carrying structure 1, to which it is fixed the back side 3 which can be lowered for easier loading and again lifted and locked against the platform sides 4, in any known manner. At the platform front side 2, there are fixed consoles 23 of the worm-gear transmission housing 22. At both platform sides 4, at their lower middle parts, there are fixed wheel console axes 8, around which the wheel mobile consoles 7 turn. At the wheel mobile consoles 7, there are firmly fixed wheel axes 6 around which the wheels turn. The wheel mobile consoles 7, jointly with the wheels 5, can turn around the axis 8, where the platform D lowers or hoists. At the wheel consoles 7, there are fixed regulators 9 with several openings 9, in which turn the jointed levers 26. Hoisting or lowering of the jointed levers in the said openings regulates the height of the platform from the ground.

The jointed levers 26 are connected by one end with the pole console 13 in the turning point 25. At the pole 11, there are fixed nut consoles 17, with the turning point 18 for the nut 16, through which passes the bolt 15. The bolt 15 is firmly connected with the worm-wheel 19 with which it turns with assistance of axial- radial bearings 28. The worm-gear transmission bearing 22 can turn around the axes 24. The worm 20 is turned manually by the lever 21. Turning of the worm may be powered, besides manually, in other known manners such as hydraulic or electrical.

The car trailer with adjustable-height platform, according to this invention, functions as follows : The trailer is connected to a car, tractor or another vehicle, by the connection 12 at the pole 11. If loading of a cargo requires lowering of the platform to the ground or another adequate level, the worm 20 is turned by means of the lever 21, whereby, in turn, there are turned the worm-wheel 19 and the bolt 15 which is firmly connected to the worm-wheel 19. When the bolt 15 is turned in the nut 16, the bolt pulls the bolt towards the front part of the platform 2. Since the worm-wheel transmission is firmly connected to the front side of the platform 2 by the console 23, and the nut consoles 17 are firmly connected to the pole 11, the nut 16 will move along the bolt 15, and away from the platform, and the bolt 15 will simultaneously lifts up. Moving of the nut 16 along the bolt 15 pulls the pole 11 and the pole consoles 13 turning in the point 14. Since the pole consoles 13 are connected to the jointed levers 26, they pull and turn the wheel mobile consoles 7, at which they are fixed by the platform-position regulators 9, turning in the opening 27. Turning of the wheel mobile consoles 7 around the axes 8, which are firmly fixed to the platform sides 4, the platform lowers to the ground. Turning of the lever 21 in the opposite direction returns the nut 16 to its previous position, wherefore the pole console 13 pushes the jointed levers 26, which, in turn, turn the wheel mobile consoles 7 in the opposite direction, and the axes 8, with the platform, lift upwards.

The platform level regulators 9 are provided with several openings to which the jointed levers 26 can be connected. If the jointed levers are moved to a higher opening, the platform will lower further down, and if they are moved to a lower opening at the regulator 9, the platform will be hoisted further up.

7. INVENTION APPLICATION The invention application is obvious from its very description.

Trailers with adjustable-height platforms will have particular usage in stores, agriculture, etc.

Experts will find it obvious that numerous modifications of the above described invention embodiment are possible, yet maintaining the scope of the described invention.
