Abstract:
A car u-turn platform has an outer base (1). The outer base (1) is composed of a car u-turn control unit (4) and a top support base (5), and the top support base (5) has a thorough hole (7) attached by a pressed base (8) which is used for supporting the weight of a car and transmitting force to a lower driving mechanism (9). The lower driving mechanism (9) is composed of an outer connected base (10), a side connected base (11) and an inside connected base (12), and the outer connected base (10) is connected with the inside connected base (12) by the side connected base (11). An inner pinion edge ring (16) is provided between the outer connected base (10) and the inside connected base (12), and the outer edge of the inner pinion edge ring (16) is an outer pinion edge (17) which is used for driving an inner driving gear (18), and the inner driving gear (18) is used for transmitting force to change the direction of the car. An outer ring edge (21) is provided between the outer connected base (10) and the inside connected base (12), and the inner edge of the outer ring edge (21) is an inner lengthy pinion edge (20) which is used for driving the inner driving gear (18), and the inner driving gear (18) is used for transmitting force to stop changing the direction of the car. The platform can change the direction of the car from one side to another side.

Technical Field

Refer to Thai Petty Patent number 7631 (Petty Patent Application number 1203000206 which is represented old model of u turn platform composed of platform base which is formed in shape of semicircle rail of which its axis of the base is installed with ball bearing support for support the weight from vehicle and being fulcrum of vehicle. Axis of said platform base is to be put on with gear to roll the platform in u turn function. In the mean time, top part of ball bearing support is attached with support structure, in rectangular shape supporting for automobile. Lower part of said support structure is attached with a number of wheels which is able to move the structure on the top. At the sides of support structure, at the front and the back, there contains of roller set that drives gear which installed at the middle of the front and the back of support structure. The roller set is set to connect with power transmission shaft to drive gear move around by using ball bearing support as fulcrum of automobile. Top of support structure is covered by floor plate which is support the automobile parking. Automobile ramp is upward plate of which its middle part composes of foot peddle installed within ramp plate. The top part of both sides of ramp plate is position to install with lock and unlock set of u turn platform.

From the characteristic of said u turn platform as above, upper base platform is lack of balance because the structure which moving on gear may be apart from the platform base. Characteristic and Purpose of this Invention

Car U-Turn Platform composes of outer base which is supported for installing with car u-turn control unit assembling with top supported base of which its part is thorough hole for attached by pressed platform for supporting pressure from weight of car being u-turn and transmitted force to lower driving mechanism. The mechanism composes of outside connecting base with outer part of side connecting base attached so that inside part of side connecting base attached with inside holding base. Between outside connecting base and inside holding base, there is driven circle edge of which its outer rim edge is lengthy gear for driving inside pinion which is transmitted driving force from power transmitting unit for u-turn or changing direction of car. Between outside connecting base and inside holding base, there is edge of driving gear of which its inside surface is inside lengthy gear to drive inside driving pinion which is being transmitted from force transmitted unit for stopping motion of u-turn or changing direction of car.

Purpose of this invention is to have car u-turn platform which is able to u- turn or change direction of car from one side to another side from driving force initiated from pressure from top side at the beginning point of u-turn or changing direction to lower control mechanism unit. This process is done for driving unit to turn car to opposite direction or to desired direction before driving unit is turned into the beginning direction waiting for cars in the line to be turning next. The operation of car u-turn platform according to this invention is able to explain briefly as following. Car that need to change direction is driven to the top of top support base 5 in the position that pressed base 8 is identified as starting base to press down with pressed base 8 as said. This movement is to transmit weight of car to force transmitted unit 19 of lower driving mechanism 9 to drive inner driving gear 18 to roll along driven outer pinion edge 17 of inner pinion edge ring 16 making inner driving gear 18 and force transmitted unit 19 moving to the desired position that the changing direction of car is to be made.

In the meantime, when inner driving gear 18 is moved out from driven outer pinion edge 17 of inner pinion edge ring 16 to drive with inner lengthy pinion edge 20 of outer ring edge 21 caused pressed base 8 to be moving out from starting position and moving back to the original location or merely the original location with the car in the changed direction as desired. The pressed base 8 is now also ready to being pressed from next car needs to change direction.
