A carbazole polymer including a repeating unit represented by formula (1) and having excellent one electron oxidation-state stability. {In formula (1) R1-R4 each independently represents an alkyl group having 1-60 carbon atoms, a haloalkyl group having 1-60 carbon atoms, or similar, Cz represents a divalent group including a carbazole skeleton represented by formula (2), and Ar represents a divalent aromatic ring or similar.
