Abstract:
Carbide-containing high-strength and -toughness bainitic wear-resistant steel and a preparation method therefor. The chemical composition of the wear-resistant steel comprises: 0.6-1.2 wt% of C, 1.2-2.5 wt% of Si, 0.8-2.0 wt% of Mn, 5-10 wt% of Cr, less than or equal to 0.015 wt % of P, less than or equal to 0.01 wt % of S, 0.3-0.7 wt% of Mo, and 0.3-0.7 wt% of Ni, with the balance being Fe and inevitable trace impurities. The preparation method comprises: first smelting and casting designed components into an ingot; then forging or rolling the ingot into a slab, and performing spheroidizing annealing treatment; and finally, performing isothermal quenching heat treatment. The microstructure of the prepared wear-resistant steel is that: the matrix is micro/nano-scale bainitic ferrites and thin film austenites distributed alternately, spheroidal carbides having a diameter of 0.5-2 μm are dispersively distributed on the matrix, and the volume percentage of the spherical carbides is 7-12%.
