Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carbon black which can efficiently cover the surface of an electrode active material as the conductive agent of a secondary battery and which can improve the collector effect. A carbon black comprising a carbon black aggregate (2) in which the ratio (PPA/d) of the number (PPA) of primary particles (1) to the particle diameter (d (nm)) of the primary particles (1) is 8 or greater.
