Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carbon fiber bundle which is provided with a composition functioning as a sizing agent that has excellent adhesion to a thermoplastic resin matrix such as a polypropylene resin.
The present invention relates to: a carbon fiber bundle wherein a copolymerized polyolefin, which contains an aromatic vinyl compound and an acid and/or an acid anhydride as the copolymerization components, is adhered to the surfaces of carbon fibers, with the adhesion amount of the copolymerized polyolefin being 0.01-10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the carbon fiber bundle; and a random mat, a composite material and various molded articles, which are produced from the carbon fiber bundle.
