Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a carbon fiber coated with silicon carbide. The method for manufacturing a carbon fiber coated with silicon carbide may comprise the steps of: preparing a carbon fiber; coating the surface of the carbon fiber with graphene oxide; coating, with silicon oxide, the carbon fiber that has been coated with the graphene oxide; and heat-treating the carbon fiber that has been coated with the silicon oxide and the graphene oxide so as to form a silicon carbide layer on the surface of the carbon fiber.
