Abstract:

Provided is a carbon material capable of improving the capacity of a power storage device or battery characteristics such as rate characteristics and cycle characteristics. The carbon material has a graphene laminated structure and has a BET specific surface area of 1-25 m2/g. The particle concentration of the carbon material is 3,000-50,000/µL, and the integrated value of the particle surface area of the carbon material is 1,000-10,000 mm2/mg, as measured by a flow particle image analyzer using an N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone solution containing 20 ppm of the carbon material.
