Title:
CARBON MATERIAL FOR NEGATIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERIES, NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY NEGATIVE ELECTRODE, NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY, AND CARBON MATERIAL PRODUCTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/009332
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: a carbon material suitable for a negative electrode active material for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary batteries having high charge and discharge capacity, suitably high charge and discharge efficiency, and low resistance, e.g., lithium ion secondary batteries, sodium ion secondary batteries, lithium sulfur batteries, and lithium air batteries; a negative electrode including said carbon material; a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having said negative electrode; and a production method for said carbon material. The present invention pertains to a carbon material having, as found using element analysis, a nitrogen content of at least 3.5% by mass, a ratio (RN/H) between nitrogen content and hydrogen content of 6–100, and a ratio (RO/N) between oxygen content and nitrogen content of 0.1–1.0. The carbon material has a carbon surface interval (d002), as measured using X ray diffraction measurement, of at least 3.70Å.
