Abstract:
This carburetor is provided with: a float chamber body that stores, in a float chamber, a fuel supplied to an internal combustion engine; a gas mixture supply mechanism that supplies, to an air intake passage, a gas mixture of air and the fuel inside the float chamber, the fuel being suctioned upward by a pressure difference between the inside of the float chamber and the air intake passage of the internal combustion engine; an electric pump that delivers air between the electric pump and the inside of the float chamber and changes the pressure inside the float chamber; and a control unit that controls the operation of the electric pump on the basis of the load on the internal combustion engine.
