Abstract:
Provided is a carburizing apparatus comprising: a carburizing chamber 11 for carburizing a workpiece W; a carburizing gas introducing part 12 for introducing a carburizing gas Ga into the carburizing chamber 11; an inert gas introducing part 13 for introducing an inert gas Gb into the carburizing chamber 11; and a gas exhaust part 14 for exhausting gas from the carburizing chamber 11, wherein the carburizing gas introducing part 12 and the inert gas introducing part 13 are provided at positions spaced from the gas exhaust part 14, and the inert gas Gb is introduced from the inert gas introducing part 13 into the carburizing chamber 11 into which the carburizing gas Ga has been introduced from the carburizing gas introducing part 12.
