The purpose of the present invention is to improve contact reliability between a terminal fitting and a circuit board. A card-edge connector is provided so as to follow a plurality of terminal fittings (50) disposed in parallel, the card-edge connector having: a support wall part (31) for receiving the reaction force from a circuit board (62) side caused by the elastic pressing action of an elastic contact piece (54); and a front wall part (33) connected to the front end edge of the support wall part (31). The front wall part (33) has formed thereon: a substrate insertion hole (41) that opens in a slit shape substantially parallel to the parallel direction of the terminal fittings (50), and communicates with a substrate-accommodating space (40); and a connecting part (44) for connecting the support wall part (31) and a substantially parallel pair of long-side opening edges (43), among the opening edges of the substrate insertion hole (41). The circuit board (62) has formed thereon a notch part (65) for avoiding interference with the connecting part (44) when inserted into the substrate-accommodating space (40).
