Abstract:
Disclosed is a card game apparatus. The card game apparatus according to the present invention enables players to play card games using a plurality of cards, each of which has an identification surface and a non-identification surface. The card game apparatus comprises: a card-sliding housing having a plurality of runways, each of which is inclined with respect to the vertical direction such that cards are slidable along each of the runways, and which are separated from each other; a card-stopping unit which is coupled to the card-sliding housing to stop cards from sliding along each of the runways at a predetermined location; a card-dispensing unit which dispenses cards such that the cards are slidable along each of the runways; a card-driving unit which causes the cards that have been stopped in the card-dispensing unit to start sliding again along the runways on which they have stopped; and a card-receiving unit which is arranged below the card-stopping unit and which has a plurality of card receivers corresponding to the respective runways to receive the plurality of cards which have slid along the respective runways by means of the card-driving unit, wherein said plurality of card receivers are movable such that at least portions of the identification surfaces of the cards are spaced apart from each other in one direction and exposed. The card game apparatus of the present invention enables players to play a game without a card dealer, and enables identification information of each of the cards to always be exposed to eliminate restrictions in playing card games.
