A card holder which enables a card to be easily extracted from a case. A card holder is provided with: an inner case (12); an intermediate case (13); an outer case (14) which is mounted so that the outer case (14) can be pivotally switched between a containing position at which the intermediate case (13) is contained with the inner-case insertion/extraction opening (23) thereof facing inward, and a discharge position at which the intermediate case (13) is discharged with the inner-case insertion/extraction opening (23) facing outward; an elastic member which presses the inner case (12) toward the inner-case insertion/extraction opening (23); an unlockable lock member (16) which is composed of a latch section (29) and a catch section (28) and which holds, against the pressing force of the elastic member (15), the inner case (12) at the bottom section within an inner-case containing pocket of the intermediate case (13); and an unlocking member (17) which, in association with the operation for pivoting the intermediate case (13) to the discharge position, releases the locking caused by the locking member (16).
