Abstract:
A card key having a configuration in which engaging protrusions (20a, 20b) of an electric cell cover (5) engage with engaging recesses (22a, 22b) of a main card key body (2), whereby the electric cell cover (5) is mounted on the main card key body (2). The engaging contact surfaces (25, 26) of the mutually engaged engaging recesses (22a, 22b) and engaging protrusions (20a, 20b) are provided at an angle of 90° with respect to the direction of sliding (X1-X2) of the electric cell cover (5). The main card key body (2) is provided with escape slopes (23a, 23b) for enabling the electric cell cover (5) to be pulled out by preventing interference with the second side edge part (5b) of the electric cell cover (5)and allowing deflection of a first side edge part (5a). This makes it easier to remove the electric cell cover (5) but prevents the electric cell cover (5) from detaching accidentally when struck.
