Abstract:
A card processing device (100) for treating magnetic cards and IC cards. In taking a card (50) into inside a body (20), when the card is a magnetic card, the inserted card (50) is intermittently transported up to a predetermined position, and after that, the card is continuously transported and taken in. When the card is an IC card, the inserted card is continuously transported and taken in. Further, in discharging the card (50) from inside the body (20), when the card is a magnetic card, the card is continuously transported up to a predetermined position, and after that the card is intermittently transported and discharged. In case of an IC card, the card is continuously transported and discharged.
