Abstract:
There is provided a card reader system for a card game having a plurality of card setting tables as fields and a computer communicably connected to each of the card setting tables for performing the card game in which each player puts a card each having its capability on the fields and indicates the card state by the card posture when presented. Card information in accordance with the capability is recorded on each card. Each of the card setting tables has: a card positioning unit for positioning the card at a posture when presented; a card information reading unit for reading the card information, converting it into an electric signal, and outputting it to the computer; and a card posture acquiring unit for acquiring the card posture, converting it into an electric signal, and outputting it to the computer. The computer has a battle judgment unit for performing battle judgment of the cards on the respective card setting tables according to the electric signals of the respective card setting tables.
