Abstract:
A card stacker device reduced in size by simplifying the structure of a card stacker
section. A large number of cards (C) received in a layered manner in the stacker
section (17) are urged downward by a compression spring (15) to press the lowermost
card (C) against a conveyance drive roller (20). A card introduction section
(18) is provided below the forward end of the lowermost card (C), and in front of
the card introduction section (18) is provided a second roller unit (35) whose
conveyance nip section (35A) is displaced downward from the position of the lowermost
card (C). A card (C) inserted into the card introduction section (18) from the
second roller unit (35) is directed obliquely upward relative to the lowermost
card (C), and the card (C) is taken in and received in the stacker section without
lifting of the cards received in the stacker section (17).
