Abstract:
Provided is a care assistance system capable of appropriately watching a target person while reducing the burden on a caregiver, etc. In the present invention, a sensor box SB by itself determines, on the basis of image data according to the state of a target person, that the target person enters a predetermined state, and sends a notification signal. Thus, transfer of a large amount of image data each time is not needed, a communication amount is suppressed, and congestion of a network can be avoided. Further, when receiving the notification signal from the sensor box SB, a management server SV determines whether or not the target person has experienced a notification event. When determining that the target person has experienced the notification event, the management server SV can select the corresponding portable terminal TA and send the notification signal thereto.
