Abstract:

Provided is a care bed which is capable of reducing a burden imposed on the body of a care recipient as much as possible when changing the body position thereof and preventing bedsore of the care recipient. This care bed (1) has a longitudinal dimension (L) and a width dimension (W) and comprises an upper face forming member (3) which forms a bed upper face (2) on which the care recipient lies and drive mechanisms (6, 7) for moving at least a part of the upper face forming member (3). The bed upper face (2) comprises a curved face which curves downward in the width direction.
