Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a very versatile cargo carrying vehicle capable of smooth cargo carrying processing by fine-tuning the position of and the length between a pair of right and left guide rails on a platform without the need to change a stop position if the vehicle stops at a position at which the leading end of the platform is brought close to a carry-in/out gate of an aircraft. A cargo carrying vehicle is provided with a self-propellable vehicle, and a platform provided in the vehicle to move a cargo, and carries the cargo into and out of a cargo compartment in a fuselage via an opening gate of a carry-in/out door provided in the body of an aircraft parked in front of the vehicle. The cargo carrying vehicle has a configuration provided with a pair of right and left movable guide rails extending in a front-back direction on the platform, and capable of movement in a sliding manner in directions in which the guide rails move close to and away from each other, and an oscillating motion within a horizontal plane.
