Abstract:
A cargo-handling limiting device for a forklift is provided. The forklift comprises an engine and a cargo handling device. The cargo-handling limiting device comprises: a vehicle speed sensor configured to output a signal according to a vehicle speed of the forklift; an accelerator sensor configured to output a signal according to an operation amount of an accelerator pedal; and a control device configured to compute a vehicle speed on the basis of the signal of the vehicle speed sensor and to execute a vehicle speed limiting process that uses at least the vehicle speed to limit the vehicle speed. The control device is configured such that when an abnormality related to the vehicle speed limiting process occurs, the control device executes a travel process (S4) that controls the rotation speed of the engine on the basis of the signal of the accelerator sensor and a cargo-handling limiting process (S5) that limits the operations of the cargo handling device.
