Disclosed in the present application are a carriage control method and device, and a storage medium. The carriage control method disclosed in the present application comprises: first, detecting an amusement ride where a carriage is currently located; next, determining a travel route and a travel mode of the carriage that match the amusement ride; and then, controlling the carriage to travel along the travel route according to the travel mode. In the present application, different travel routes and travel modes are designed according to the features of different amusement rides, and when a visitor is transported in a carriage to ride an amusement ride, the travel route and the travel mode matching the amusement ride can be automatically selected according to the amusement ride where the carriage is located. Moreover, according to the present application, when the visitor enters the next amusement ride by means of the carriage, the travel route and the travel mode matching said amusement ride can be automatically selected again. Therefore, visitors do not need to walk a lot or continuously take shuttle buses, and can ride different amusement rides by merely remaining in the carriage all the time, thus improving the transport experience and the ride enjoyment of the visitors riding in the carriage.
