Abstract:

This carrier (200) is provided with a traveling part (210), a carrying part (220), a drop preventing member (260), and a swing suppressing member (270). The traveling part (210) travels on a track (100) laid on a ceiling. The carrying part (220) carries an object to be carried. The drop preventing member (260) is pivotally supported to be rotatable between a withdrawal position and a drop preventing position. The drop preventing member (260) is disposed on the underside of the object to be carried in the drop preventing position. A pressing part of the swing suppressing member (270) presses a side surface of the object to be carried by a pressing surface in conjunction with the rotation of the drop preventing member (260) from the withdrawal position to the drop preventing position. A lever part of the swing suppressing member (270) supports the pressing part at one end side thereof, and is pivotally supported to be rotatable coaxially with the drop preventing member (260) at the other end side thereof. The carrier (200) thus configured enables effective suppression of the swing of the object to be carried.
