[45] Fig. 11 is a main part perspective view illustrating a balancing means provided in a cart type bag according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention.

[46] As shown in Fig. 11, a balancing means of a cart type bag according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention includes a pair of one side fixing members 446 that is provided on the bottom side of the rest 200, with hooking grooves formed on outer sides of the one side fixing members 446; the other side fixing member 451 that is provided in correspondence to the one side fixing member 446 and includes a fixture 448 attached on a fixing plate 447 provided on the bottom side of the mount 310, a rotating piece 449 hinged to the fixture 448, and a fixing loop 450 rotatably combined to both side of the hinged rotating piece 449; and a rotation prevention projection 452 that projects from sides of projections formed on the bottom side of the rest 200 for preventing the fixing loop 450 from seceding from the rotating piece 449.

[47] Fig. 12 is a main part perspective view illustrating a balancing means provided in a cart type bag according to a sixth embodiment of the present invention.

[48] As shown in Fig. 12, a balancing means of a cart type bag according to a sixth embodiment of the present invention includes a fixing rack 453 that is provided on the bottom side of the rest 200, with a hooking projection 453a from an outer side of the fixing rack 453; a balancing plate 454 that is formed with an insertion hole 454a in which the hooking projection 453a is inserted near an end of the balancing plate 454; a flange 455 that is provided at the bottom side of the mount 310 and is hinged with the balancing plate 454; and a rotation prevention projection 456 that projects from sides

of projections formed on the bottom side of the rest 200 for preventing the balancing plate 454 from rotating beyond the projection 456.

[49] On the other hand, as shown in Fig. 4, the cart type bag further comprises a retractable handle 500 and a pair of fixing holes 311 that is formed on the mount 310 constituting the bag movement member 300 and in which both ends of the retractable handle 500 are inserted and fixed. The length of the retractable handle 500 can be adjusted, thereby allowing a user to carry the cart type bag conveniently. The adjustment of length of the retractable handle 500 is known in the art, and therefore, explanation thereof will be omitted for the sake of avoiding complexity of description.

[50] In addition to the retractable handle 500, a fixed handle may be attached on the top side of the cart type bag.

[51] As described above, the cart type bag of the present invention may be selectively applied to a trunk type bag for crumple prevention of stored items and convenient transport and a knapsack for convenient storage.

[52] First, if the cart type bag is used as the trunk type bag, the pair of base plates 110 and 120 constituting the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 fixed on the inner bottom side of the cart type bag is balanced and fixed by the balancing means.

[53] At this time, if the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 comprises the pair of base plates 110 and 120 integrally formed and having the fold groove 130 formed therein, the pair of base plates 110 and 120 becomes flat by unfolding the fold groove 130. On the other hand, if the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 comprises the pair of base plates 110 and 120 separately formed, and interconnected and fixed by the hinge (not shown), the pair of base plates 110 and 120 becomes flat by unfolding the hinge.

[54] Here, when the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 comprises the through hole 411 formed in the side of the rest 200, and the fixing tube 412 and the balancing bar 413 that are provided in the bottom side of the mount 310, the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 becomes flat by inserting the balancing bar 413 into the fixing tube 412 through the through hole 411. At this time, since the hooking jaw 413a, which projects from the balancing bar 413, is hooked on the hooking hole 412a, which is formed in the edge of the outer bottom side of the fixing tube 412, the balancing bar 413 is prevented from being separated from the fixing tube 412.

[55] In addition, as in the first embodiment, in the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, when the fixing tube 415 and the balancing tube 416 are fixed by the operation projection 418 of the operation switch 420 provided in the receiving box 417, the operation projection 418 that fixes the fixing tube 415 and the balancing tube 416 is pushed below the fixing tube 415, and

then, the balancing tube 416 is pulled.

[56] Thereafter, an end of the pulled balancing tuber 416 is forcedly inserted into the receiving hole 414 formed in the end side of the rest 200 to balance the bottom side volume adjustment member 100. Similarly, a remaining balancing tube 416 is also forcedly inserted into a remaining receiving hole 414 formed in the other end side of the rest 200 to balance the bottom side volume adjustment member 100.

[57] In addition, for release of the balancing of the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, the balancing tube 416 forcedly inserted in the receiving hole 414 is drawn out and then is pushed in the fixing tube 415 until the drawing-out hole 415a formed in the fixing tube 415 is aligned with the connecting hole 416a formed in the balancing tuber 416.

[58] At this time, while the compressed elastic spring 419 is restored, the operation projection 418 of the operation switch 420 pressed on the inner side of the fixing tuber 415 projects outwardly through the connecting hole 416a and the drawing-out hole 415a such that the balancing tuber 416 is fixed in the fixing tube 415 to release the balancing of the bottom side volume adjustment member 100.

[59] In addition, as in the second embodiment, in the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, the balancing tube 416 is fixed in the fixing tube 415 by compression of the elastic spring 439 and the fixation of the balancing tube 416 is released by restoration of the elastic spring 439 to balance the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, similarly to the first embodiment.

[60] In the second embodiment, unlike the first embodiment, when the operation switch

438 is pulled to draw the fixing projection 438a of the operation switch 438 out of the fixing hole 436a formed on the side of the balancing tube 436 by the elastic spring 439 formed on the outer circumference of the operation switch 438, the balancing tube 416 is automatically drawn out of the fixing tube 435 while the elastic spring 437 compressed between the fixing tube 435 and the balancing tube 416 is restored by the elastic force.

[61] In addition, a guide wing 459b may be provided on the outer side of the balancing tube 436 such that the balancing tube 436 is automatically drawn out without shaking. At this time, the guide wing 459b is provided in such a manner that it is not arranged on the same line as the operation switch 438.

[62] In addition, as in the third embodiment, in the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, when the though hole 440 is formed on the side of the rest 200, the fixing hole 441a is formed on the inner side of the fixing rack 441 in correspondence to the through hole 440, and the screw thread 442a is formed on the outer circumference of the end of the balancing bar 442, the balancing bar 442 with the screw thread 442a is inserted in the fixing hole 441a through the

through hole 440.

[63] At this time, the screw thread 442a of the balancing bar 442 inserted in the fixing hole 441a engages with the screw thread 441b formed on the inner circumference of the fixing hole 441a to balance the bottom side volume adjustment member 100.

[64] In addition, as in the fourth embodiment, in the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 is balanced through screw engagement, similarly to the third embodiment.

[65] In the fourth embodiment, the balancing tube 445 is inserted in the fixing tube 444 with the screw thread 445a formed on the outer circumference of the leading end of the balancing tuber 445, and the screw thread 445a is combined by screw to the receiving hole 443 formed in the end side of the rest 200.

[66] In addition, as in the fifth embodiment, in the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, when the balancing means includes the pair of one side fixing members 446 that is provided on the bottom side of the rest 200, with hooking grooves formed on outer sides of the one side fixing members 446, and the other side fixing member 451 that is provided in correspondence to the one side fixing member 446 and includes the fixture 448 attached on the fixing plate 447 provided on the bottom side of the mount 310, the rotating piece 449 hinged to the fixture 448, and the fixing loop 450 rotatably combined to both side of the hinged rotating piece 449, the rotating piece 449 is rotated such that the fixing loop 450 is hooked in the hooking groove of the one side fixing member 446, and then, the rotating piece 449 is rotated in the opposite direction such that the fixing loop 450 is fixed in the hooking groove of the one side fixing member 446 to balance the bottom side volume adjustment member 100.

[67] In addition, the fixation of the fixing loop 450 may be released according to a reverse order of the fixation. Also, as the released fixing loop 450 is mounted on the rotation prevention projection 452, it prevents the fixing loop 450 from rotating and seceding from the rotating piece 449.

[68] In addition, as in the sixth embodiment, in the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100, when the balancing means includes the fixing rack 453 that is provided on the bottom side of the rest 200, with the hooking projection 453a from the outer side of the fixing rack 453, the balancing plate 454 that is formed with the insertion hole 454a in which the hooking projection 453a is inserted near an end of the balancing plate 454, and the flange 455 that is provided at the bottom side of the mount 310 and is hinged with the balancing plate 454, the insertion hole 454a formed in the balancing plate 454 passes through the hooking projection 453a projecting from the outer side of the fixing rack 453, and an edge of the insertion hole 454a is hooked in the hooking projection 453a to balance the bottom side volume

adjustment member 100.

[69] In addition, the fixation of the balancing plate 454 may be released according to a reverse order of the fixation. Also, as the released balancing plate 454 is mounted on the rotation prevention projection 456, the balancing plate 454 is prevented from rotating beyond the rotation prevention projection 456.

[70] As described above, when the cart type bag in which items (for example, clothes) are stored is carried, with the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 balanced, the stored items can be prevented from being crumpled since the cart type bag has a standardized space like the trunk type bag.

[71] In addition, in the cart type bag, the retractable handle 500 is fixed on the top side of the bag movement member 300 and the wheels 320 are attached on the bottom side of the bag movement member 300. This allows a user to carry the cart type bag conveniently.

[72] In addition, after detaching the retractable handle 500 from the cart type bag, a user can carry the cart type bag using the fixed handle attached on the top side of the cart type bag.

[73] On the other hand, if the cart type bag is used as a knapsack which can be shrunk and restored, the balancing means that balances the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 is removed from the cart type bag.

[74] In addition, the fixation of the balancing means according to the described- described embodiments is released or removed in a reverse order of the fixation procedure or in the same way as the above-described first to third embodiments, and therefore, description of which will be omitted.

[75] As described above, when the cart type bag of the present invention is stored in a moving body (airplane, vehicle, train, ship, etc) in use under the condition where the balancing of the bottom side volume adjustment member 100 is removed, the volume of the cart type bag can be adjusted depending on the extent of stored items, which leads to good space availability.

[76] Such good space availability causes increase of the number of cart type bags loaded in a container for export, which results in saving of the expenses of carriage.

[77] Fig. 13 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a cart type bag according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[78] As shown in Fig. 13, according to another embodiment of the present invention, a cart type bag, which is made of material that can be shrunk or restored depending the volume of stored items, comprises: a bottom side volume adjustment member 600 that is arranged in the inner bottom side of the bag and comprises a pair of opposite base plates 610 and 620, which are foldable or unfoldable; a rest 700 that is arranged in the outer bottom side of the bag and is fixed to one 610 of the pair of base plates 610 and

620; a bag movement member 800 that comprises a mount 810 that is arranged in the outer bottom side of the bag and is fixed to the other 620 of the pair of base plates 610 and 620 and in which a mounting space 810a having a shape corresponding to a bent external appearance of the outer bottom side of the bag is defined, and wheels 820 that are respectively fixed to both lower edges of the mount 810; and a balancing plate 900 that is detachably hooked 910 with the pair of base plates 610 and 620 to balance the pair of base plates 610 and 620 constituting the bottom side volume adjustment member 600 such that the pair of base plates 610 and 620 are not folded after the pair of base plates 610 and 620 is unfolded.

[79] Here, it is preferable that a receiving member to receive the balancing plate 900 is provided inside the cart type bag according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[80] The bottom side volume adjustment member 600 may be configured in various ways. For example, the pair of base plates 610 and 620 constituting the bottom side volume adjustment member 600 may be integrally formed and a fold groove 630 may be formed along a boundary between the pair of integrally formed base plates 610 and 620, or alternatively, the pair of base plates 610 and 620 constituting the bottom side volume adjustment member 600 may be separately formed, and interconnected and fixed by a hinge.

[81] On the other hand, the cart type bag may further comprise a retractable handle and a pair of fixing holes that is formed on the mount 810 constituting the bag movement member 800 and in which both ends of the retractable handle are inserted and fixed.

[82] In the cart type bag according to another embodiment, the same elements and operation as the cart type bag according to the earlier-described embodiments are omitted for the sake of avoiding complexity of description.

[83] The cart type bag according to another embodiment has a difference from those of the earlier-described embodiments in the balancing means to balance the bottom side volume adjustment member 600.

[84] That is, in the cart type bag according to another embodiment, the balancing plate

900 is hooked 910 with the pair of base plates 610 and 620 constituting the bottom side volume adjustment member 600 so that the bottom side volume adjustment member 600 is balanced. Industrial Applicability
