A conventional cartoner dedicated to handle a single article to be packed lacks versatility, and if the cartoner has general versatility by changing a component for a carrying means, obtaining space for the change is difficult. Provided is a cartoner, wherein a carton stock conveyer which receives a carton from a carton hopper located above, and a package insert conveyer are mounted on a moving base (6), and a frame pallet is provided with two rails (12) so that the moving base can move on the rails (12), and thereby, by moving the moving base backward and obtaining space at the front side, changing the type of a carton bucket conveyer portion provided downward and maintenance of the same can be easily performed.
