Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cartridge comprising: a mouthpiece for providing a suctioning force from a user through a suction port; a housing which is coupled to the mouthpiece such that outside air is made to flow in by the suctioning force and guided to the suction port, provides each of an inlet path for the air and a discharge path connecting the inlet path and the suction port, and includes a storage space for a liquid-phase cigarette material; a mixing chamber which connects the inlet path inside the housing and the discharge path and induces the liquid-phase cigarette material to flow in from the storage space due to its own weight or the flow of the introduced air; and a heater which heats the induced liquid-phase cigarette material and vaporizes the same into a vapor-phase cigarette material so that the vapor-phase cigarette material becomes mixed with the introduced air. The inlet path includes a plurality of inlet lines that extend in different directions in order to prevent backflow of the liquid-phase cigarette material induced into the mixing chamber, and includes at least one inlet line in the reverse direction of the direction of air movement inside the mixing chamber. According to the present invention, leakage of the liquid-phase cigarette material within the cartridge is significantly reduced to maintain the cleanliness of the electrically-operated electronic cigarette, and thus prevents minor failures of the device and is expected to improve the durability thereof.
