Abstract:
The present invention provides a cartridge for a heating-type pseudo-smoking implement that employs internal direct heating, the cartridge enabling a reduction in the required amount of an object to be heated and also enabling effective heating of the object to be heated, compared to typical cigarette-type cartridges. A cartridge 1 includes: a wrapping material 11 that is a cylinder-shaped member; a filter 12 disposed inside the wrapping material 11 so as to close an opening on an intake side of the wrapping material 11; a capsule 13 disposed so as to close an opening on a side opposite the intake side of the wrapping material 11; and an object to be heated 14 accommodated inside the capsule 13. A cross-section of the capsule 13 has a teardrop shape when the cartridge 1 is cut on a plane including the axis of the cylinder shape of the wrapping material 11. In this shape, accommodation space of the capsule 13 is narrower compared to the shape of typical medicine capsules; therefore, the object to be heated 14 contacts a heating blade on the majority of the surface of the heating blade. As a result, efficient heating of the object to be heated 14 is carried out.
