Abstract:
The invention relates to a cartridge (1) for a pneumatic spraying device for the metered dispensing of liquid media, comprising a pin-like housing (2) which has a storage chamber (5) for the medium, a closure plug (4) disposed at the rear end of the housing (2) and a tip (3) arranged at the front end (17) thereof, wherein an outlet opening (7) is provided at said tip. Said cartridge further comprises a valve element (6) arranged in the front end (17), which closes the outlet opening (7) under the force of a spring (8) and partially releases the same by a force acting upon the valve element (6). According to the invention, a sliding piston (9) for dispensing the medium and a pressure chamber (10), which is adjacent to the sliding piston (9) and faces the closure plug (4), are arranged in the storage chamber (5). The closure plug (4) has a central bore (11) extending in the axial direction of the housing (2) and opening into the pressure chamber (10).
