Abstract:
This cartridge-type vane pump is provided with: a side plate (20) in contact with one end surface of a rotor (2) and one end surface of a cam ring (4); a cover (10) in contact with the other end surface of the rotor (2) and the other end surface of the cam ring (4) and attached to a body (101); and an O-ring (30) for sealing between the outer periphery of the side plate (20) and the inner periphery of the body (101). The side plate (20) has: a first flange (21) for restricting the movement of the O-ring (30) toward the rotor; a second flange (22) for restricting the movement of the O-ring (30) away from the rotor (2); and a containing space (23) defined by the first flange (21) and the second flange (22) and containing the O-ring (30). The first flange (21) is formed so as to be capable of compressing the O-ring (30) between the first flange (21) and the body (101) in the axial direction of a drive shaft (1).
