Abstract:

Provided is a case that suppresses the incursion of water, is capable of having the same shape for a bottom surface and an opening surface in a recessed section provided in an inclined surface or a curved surface of a bottom surface, is capable of providing a plurality of recessed sections arranged in parallel and at a constant pitch, has both a high degree of freedom of arrangement of the recessed sections and good heat dissipation efficiency, and has a good external appearance. Also provided are a display device comprising said case and a television receiver comprising said display device. A section from the upper end section of the bottom surface of a rear cabinet (4) of the television receiver to approximately 1/5 towards the bottom in the height direction comprises a curved section and an inclined section inclined relative to an opening (4a). Recessed sections (41, 42, 43, 44, 45) are provided, in order, from the upper end section of the inclined section towards the lower side, said recessed sections being recessed inwards and being rectangular in shape as viewed from the front. Holes (41a, 41b, etc.) are provided in the bottom surfaces of the recessed sections (41, etc.). The lower surfaces of the inside wall of the recessed sections (41, etc.) are deeper than the upper surfaces, and the side surfaces are substantially trapezoid. The gradients of the recessed sections (41, etc.) relative to the opening peripheral edge section of the side surfaces differ in accordance with the position of the side surfaces in the up/down direction.
