A case for a film jacket electric device capable of eliminating the affection of a gas produced when a battery causes a trouble on a human body by securely discharging the gas to an exhaust gas passage. A cell case (10) surrounding the periphery of a film jacket battery (1) comprises a first frame body (11) and a second frame body (12), and the film jacket battery (1) is held between the holding surfaces of the first and second frame bodies. The frame bodies (11) and (12) are formed in frame shapes, and an opening part (13) is formed in the frame bodies at a position corresponding to the power generation element (2) of the film jacket battery (1). The exhaust gas passage (11c) for discharging the gas produced when the battery causes the trouble through a gas discharge part formed in the film jacket battery (1) is formed at the center part of the opening parts (13). Sealing members (30) fitted to the surface of the film jacket battery (1) are fitted to both side edges of the exhaust gas passage (11c), and the exhaust gas passage (11c) is cut off from the opening part (13) by the sealing materials (30).
