Abstract:
A case for a secondary battery and a secondary battery are provided. According to the present invention, provided is a case for a secondary battery, the case comprising: a recess part recessed downward and having a width (W) that corresponds to the thickness of an electrode assembly; and a sealing part formed on the periphery of the recess part when the case is unfolded, wherein at least some portions of the sealing part are attached to each other and seal the inner surfaces of the recess part from the outside.
