Abstract:
A cash management system (1) is provided with a plurality of cash settlement devices (2), a cashier device (5), and a cash management device (6). The cash management device acquires the small-change reserve fund balance of the cash settlement device, and when there has been a request to replenish the small-change reserve fund, the total bill count by denomination that is insufficient is calculated in relation to a predetermined balance after replenishment. The cash management device gives instructions to the cashier device to disburse cash by denomination, in the necessary bill count to reach the balance after replenishment, when the total number of insufficient bills by denomination is the same or less than the balance in the cashier device, and gives instructions to the cashier device to disburse a bill count by denomination that has been calculated in accordance with a preset calculation formula, when the balance in the cashier device is exceeded.
