Abstract:
The disclosed cash management system is provided with: a containment cassette (120) that is detachably attached to a change machine (110), can retrieve money from the change machine (110), and has a recording medium (121) that records information whereby it is possible to identify the cash balance; and a cassette housing device (130) that has at least one cassette housing unit (131) that houses the containment cassette (120), a read unit (136) that reads the aforementioned information from the recording medium (121) of the containment cassette (120) housed in the cassette housing unit (131), and management units (137, 138) that acquire the cash balance of the containment cassette (12) on the basis of the information read by the read unit (136) and that manage the value of the money retrieved from the change machine (110).
