Abstract:
A method for treating the surface of cast iron cookware, comprising: putting the cast iron cookware into thermal treatment equipment and carrying out nitrocarburization at 500-700°C for 5-7h, wherein a permeating agent employed during the nitrocarburization comprises 65-80wt% of ammonia, 15-30wt% of nitrogen and 4-6wt% of carbon-containing gas; the nitrocarburization atmosphere contains: activated nitrogen, activated carbon, ammonia, nitrogen, carbon oxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen and water vapor. The thickness of a permeating layer on the surface of the cast iron cookware is 10-20μm. Also disclosed is the cast iron cookware.
