Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a casting device in which a cast product is produced using a casting mold having a pouring gate, and which is provided with: a casting mold conveyance means that conveys the casting mold containing a melt poured through the pouring gate; a nozzle having a gas feed port that is attachable to and detachable from the pouring gate; a nozzle attachment/detachment means that moves the nozzle so as to cause the gas feed port to be attached to or detached from the pouring gate; a moving means that moves the nozzle attachment/detachment means so as to follow the movement of the casting mold being conveyed by the casting mold conveyance means while the gas feed port is kept connected to the pouring gate by the nozzle attachment/detachment means; and a gas supply means that is connected to the nozzle for the purpose of supplying a gas to be delivered from the gas feed port.
