Abstract:
A casting and forging process of aluminum wheel which include spokes comprise: producing a wheel spoke member by low pressure cast, heating the member to the temperature of plastic deformation, then putting the member into a forging die for high pressure cast. The process further comprise: detecting the wheel spoke member for defect, machining the member to the desired dimension by machine work, then assembling the spoke member and a responding wheel rim for a completed wheel. The invention reduces the production steps, shortens the producing time, increases the availability of mental material, cuts off 40 % cost of the final product. The further advantage is that the completed wheel has 10 % elongation and more than 250N/mm tensile strength in the central hole section.
