Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a casting solidification analysis method whereby it is possible to analyze the positions of shrinkage cavities with more precision than in the prior art, and a casting method and electronic program using the same. The invention provides a casting solidification analysis method for finding the expansion and contraction for each length of solidification step defined by inflection points on a solidification cooling curve, the casting solidification analysis method being characterized in that expansion and contraction amounts are given to each length of solidification step by proportional allocation of lengths for each length of solidification step relative to the total solid phase ratio length assuming that the solid phase ratio at the completion of pouring is 0 and the solid phase ratio at the completion of solidification is 1.0.
