Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for efficiently producing a hydrogenated compound under mild conditions. A catalyst composition which contains a Lewis acid and a metal nanoparticle catalyst that is obtained by loading a carrier with two or more metals that are selected from among platinum, rhodium, gold, nickel and ruthenium; and a method for producing a hydrogenated compound, the method using this catalyst composition.
