Abstract:
A catalyst for use in directly converting syngas into a light olefin, which is composited together by means of component A and component B by using a manner of mechanical mixing; the active ingredient of component A is a metal oxide and component B is a molecular sieve having a MOR structure; the weight ratio between the active ingredient in component A and component B is 0.1-20. A method for directly converting syngas into ethylene by using the catalyst; the conversion reaction is carried out on a fixed bed or a moving bed, and the reaction process has high product yield and selectivity; the selectivity of light olefins may reach 80-90%, wherein the space-time yield of ethylene is high and the selectivity reaches 75-80%, while the selectivity of by-product methane is extremely low (<15%).
