Abstract:
A catalyst-enhanced MgAl-based hydrogen storage material. The catalyst-enhanced MgAl-based hydrogen storage material is prepared by the following method: providing Mg and Al metal raw materials; weighing the Mg and Al metal raw materials according to a molar ratio of Mg:Al=(16-18):(11-13); carrying out first vacuum smelting on the weighed Mg and Al metal raw materials to obtain a primary Mg alloy ingot; breaking the primary Mg alloy ingot to obtain a primary magnesium alloy block; providing Ti, Zr and V metal raw materials; weighing the primary magnesium alloy block and the Ti, Zr, and V metal raw materials according to predetermined weight parts; performing ball milling on the weighed primary magnesium alloy block and Ti, Zr and V metal raw materials to obtain a composite metal powder; using a cold isostatic pressing method to press the composite metal powder into a loose alloy ingot; hot pressing the loose alloy ingot to obtain a dense alloy ingot; performing a heat treatment on the dense alloy ingot; and performing wire cutting on the heat-treated dense alloy ingot.
